Auto
Jockeys was established in April 2007 by Shannon Kasten
and Jon Cody in
the former Cities Service Station located on the corner of East Second
& Douglas Streets in Merrill, WI. Shannon has nearly 25 years
experience as a Technician, along with factory training by Mercedes,
Toyota, Hyundai and Kia to name a few. Shannon and his wife Jackie
reside in Kronenwetter and have two children. Jon brought 25 years of
detailing and collecting cars, many of them 50’s classics, as well as a
strong entrepreneurial business background. Jon resides in Wausau with
his wife, Rebecca, and step-daughter. In the spring of 2008, Jon
& Shannon were joined by friend and fellow Technician, Jared
Semling. Jared brought many years of both independent shop and
franchise dealership experience. Jared and his wife Jodie have two
children and reside in Merrill.
In
the fall of 2008, Auto
Jockeys underwent
a major expansion, thus doubling the size of their facility to better
serve their clients. Continually wanting to improve their shop, the
main office and exterior of the original shop was remodeled in 2010. Auto
Jockeys has
been committed to superior customer service since day one, thus NAPA
Auto Parts has
recognized them as an official NAPA
AutoCare Center since
late 2007.
